Obituary

Christina Renae Paddy-Cox, 40, of Mount Vernon OH, passed away Saturday, October 29th 2022 at home, in Mount Vernon.

Christina was born July 12, 1982 in Merriam KS to Mark Raymond Paddy and Kathryn Ann {Grounds} Arvin.

She graduated from Mansfield High School, in Mansfield TX.

She had a huge heart.  Her smile lit up a room.  A jokester, she could make everyone laugh. She played clarinet and loved music.  She worked at Cleaning With Care with her mother for many years.  She was excellent at it.  She had been an active sponsor for AA for many years.  Many said she saved their life, some literally.  Cats were attracted to her.  She worked with the Forgotten4Paws organization in Columbus.  She had snakes, spiders, scorpions, rats, bearded dragons.  She loved watching movies.  A self taught artist she often made artwork to sell but ending up giving it away.  She could make a masterpiece out of any size canvas.  She would use metal to make trees, and other beautiful objects.  She could use resin to make skulls and spears.  She was able to take nearly anything and make a sculpture from it.  The picture on the gofundme page was her artwork.  She made rings and jewerly.  She wore a lot of bracelets.  She loved bright colors and would change her hair color often.   She would take kids to the art museum in Columbus.  She loved astrology, makeup and photography.

Christina will be deeply missed by her parents, children; Lillianna Nicole Paddy, Trinity Angel-Ann Paddy and Liam Anthony Cox; sister Jennifer Nicole Paddy; step sister Debra Griggs; step brothers Timothy Travis Foster, Elton Kyle Foster, Patrick Aaron Marcum; grandmother Patricia Ann Grounds; Uncles Jimmy Joe Grounds and John Edward Grounds.

Christina was preceded in death by her grandpa Jimmie Jarrell Grounds and Aunt Lue Ann Grounds and Grampie James Cabrel Martinez.

Private family services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home Mt Vernon Chapel.  A celebration of life will be held in Columbus in the near future, time and location will be posted on Facebook.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to the GoFundMe page for Christina Paddy Cox.
