Cindy Lucas

Cindy Lucas (nee Swisher), 72, of Marietta, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born April 16, 1947 in Parkersburg, WV and was raised by Clarence and Ruth Gilbert.

Cindy married Charles Edward Lucas on April 15, 1967. She was an STNA for 40 years at Marie Antoinette, Christian Anchorage and Harmar Place.

Cindy will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years Charles Lucas Sr.; son Charles Lucas Jr.; daughters Cynthia Dee (James) Wheeler, Chellie Rae Province (fiancé Todd Lindemood) and Christin Noel Lucas; grandchildren Codey (Trista) Lucas, Kyle Lucas, Ryan Beardsley, Curtis Wheeler, Samantha Wheeler; great-grandchildren Colten Lucas, Aryan Beardsley, Jayce Lucas, Vivianne Lucas, DJ Wheeler; 5 step great-grandchildren; brother Teri (Janet) Gilbert; two nieces and one nephew.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services at this time will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com
