Cletus Lee Alberts, 90, of Wooster, OH peacefully stepped out of this world on July 14th, surrounded by family and many loving caring caregivers.
He was best known for his quiet kindness and his ornery smile.
He spent many happy hours in his woodworking shop, watching his favorite sports teams, or in his chair thinking.
Our family will always fondly remember his steadfast love for Charlotte, his time playing with great-grandchildren, and his many antics with his grandsons.
Born on March 8, 1936, to Lester and Dora Alberts, he grew up learning to value hard work and a strong relationship with the Lord.
He went on to build a meaningful career at O-I (Owens Brockway), where he worked many years.
He leaves behind a legacy of love with Charlotte, the love of his life.
His spirit lives on through his daughter, Glenda (Jarritt) Doyel; son-in-law, Dave Meinke; and his grandsons, Tyler (Tabitha) Shoemaker, Michael (Nicole) Shoemaker, Sean (Emily) Meinke, Corey Meinke, and many special great-grandchildren.
He joins children, Sandra Meinke and Ron Alberts in rest.
