Dale Emerson Bowman

Dale Emerson Bowman, 77, of Wooster, passed away May 31, 2026.

Dale was born September 5, 1948 in Wooster, Ohio to Harley and Naomi {Long} Bowman.

Dale served in the United States Army in Vietnam and in Desert Storm.

Dale worked for Rubbermaid for many years. He attended the Church of the Nazarene in Wooster. He was a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion Post 651. Dale enjoyed hunting and hanging out with his grandkids.

Dale will be deeply missed by his sons Tracy (Katy) Bowman of Cardington, and Dustin Bowman of Kentucky; grandchildren Collin and Kaiden Bowman, Deklyn, Bryton, and Callen Bowman; brothers Dean (Betty) Bowman of Apple Creek, Bobby Bowman of Shreve, and David Bowman of Wooster; and sister Patricia Fiscus of Wooster.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, sisters June Chewning, Marcella Smith, Eloise Bowman, and Ruthie Butterball; brothers Kenneth, Paul, Arthur, Harley, and Larry Bowman.

Burial and a graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date, where military rites will be held.
