Dale E. Kendall, 92, of Wooster, died May 31 at Danbury Senior Living surrounded by his family.
Dale was born July 9, 1931 in Wooster to Fred and Mary {Billman} Kendall.
Dale graduated from Apple Creek High School before serving in the US Army. He served proudly during the Korean War.
He married Frances Werntz on May 14, 1958.
Dale worked as the plant manager for many years at Saint Gobain before working in the title office in Wooster. He was very active in the Marshallville Methodist Church and was an avid golfer. He was also a passionate pilot and used to take his kids up in his plane for thrills. He enjoyed building custom-made golf clubs for many people through the years. Dale loved Ohio sports teams and was an avid fan.
Dale will be deeply missed by his wife Frances; children Monica (Jeff) Drown, Michael (Marsha) Kendall, Richard (Regina) Kendall, Luann (John) Ellsessar; son-in-law Tim McGuire; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Rollin (Wanda) Kendall; sister Bonnie Greegor.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Rhonda McGuire; grandsons Michael Carr, Michael Ellsessar, Timothy Ellsessar, brother Donald; and sister Ida.
