Daniel Deneen

Daniel Walter Deneen, age 81, of Wooster, passed away on April 27, 2026.

Dan was born on November 13, 1944, in Ohio to William and Kathryn {Pfaff} Deneen.

Dan spent many years working in food service and maintenance roles. He was employed as a dishwasher at local establishments, including Chi Chi’s and Rosemont Country Club, where he operated commercial dish machines and assisted with kitchen duties. He also worked with Wayne County Human Services on a mobile work crew, performing a variety of tasks such as painting, lawn care, apartment cleaning, and custodial work.

In his free time, Dan enjoyed music, collecting records, and attending concerts. He had a strong interest in automobiles and auto magazines, and took pride in his collections. He also enjoyed reading, going to the movies, and attending church.

He will be remembered for his hardworking nature and the simple joys he found in everyday life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Kathryn Deneen.
