Daniel Clay Finley, 47, of Wadsworth, passed away March 17, 2026.

He was born June 10, 1978 in Akron, Ohio to Joseph and Alexis (Angeloff) Finley.

When Daniel walked into a room, everybody noticed him. He was both charismatic and humble, and people gravitated toward him because of his ability to make them feel special. His hugs were absolutely the best! He was always available to help his family, friends, or even strangers; anyone who asked for a favor, whether it be a move or a big house project. Daniel loved spending quality time with his family, including siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles. While he had none of his own, Daniel adored children, and was a beloved godfather and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a devout Christian, and studied the Bible extensively, finding inner peace and strength through his faith. Daniel loved cars and all things mechanical, a passion which he put to good use as a Vehicle Maintenance Specialist in the United States Air Force before retiring as a Master Sergeant. Later, he became a successful entrepreneur in real estate and investing. He had an appreciation for all of the arts, and particularly enjoyed painting and drawing. He loved watching standup comedy, and had recently begun performing himself, taking great pride in his ability to get a whole room of people laughing. Daniel considered himself a foodie, with Ontap and Roosters being among his favorites, and he also cooked a mean steak.

Daniel will be deeply missed by his Mother Alexis Finley; brothers Jonathan Finley, Andrew (Kat) Finley, Robert (Cassandra) Finley; sisters Melissa (Adam Przybyla) Finley, Kathy (Shawn) Swinehart, Moira Finley, Evangeline Finley; and nieces and nephews Gavin and Chloe Finley, Niala and Max Howerton, Graham and Emmerson Swinehart, Simon Przybyla, Isla and Harlow Finley, and Rosie and Riley Finley.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father Joseph Finley, brother Karl Finley, and his Uncle and Aunt Alex and Judy Angeloff.
