Daniel Leonard Wiggins

Daniel L. Wiggins, 82, formerly of Vienna, went to his heavenly home Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Dan was born September 26, 1942 in Wood County to Russell and Blanche {Leisure} Wiggins. He graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1960 and joined the United States Air Force. Dan enjoyed sports, guns, family and the outdoors.

Dan will be deeply missed by his wife (of 48 years) Nyla Wiggins; children Veronica (Marc) McClain and Troy (Sabina) Wiggins; grandchildren Zachary (Samantha) Walls, Taylor Walls, Jeremy Walls, Kyle (Pamella) Dunbar, Russell (Madison) Wiggins, Isaiah Wiggins and Elias Wiggins; seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; his cat “Bob”; special friends Dave Riggs and Roger Emrick.

He was preceded in death by one son Daniel Ryan Wiggins; two brothers John and Orville Wiggins; four sisters Wilma Staley, Nancy Stevens, Lexie Thorns and Ethel Mathers; three nephews and two nieces.
