Donald Jay Walker

Donald Jay Walker, 74, of Wooster, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at his home.

Don was born August 3, 1951, in Rockwood, PA to Homer and Julia {Weimer} Walker.

Don graduated from Rockwood Area High School in 1970. He completed several courses with a concentration on hydraulics.

Don retired from Caterpillar Hydraulics 16 years ago and pursued his long-time passion for BMW motorcycle riding and golfing with his brothers; he logged over one million miles driving all over the country. He was kind to everyone he met; he loved his granddaughters and was a loyal friend. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his multitude of BMW biker friends.

Don will be deeply missed by his best friend Sherry Lynn Johnson; son Shawn (Amber) Walker; grandchildren Sara (Connor) Beachy and Morgan Walker; brothers Ron (Gloria) Walker, Sam (Debbie) Walker, Keith Walker

Don was preceded in death by his parents; brother Darwin Walker; sisters DeAnna (Dale) Nicklow and Rena Kay (Steve) Kittle.
