Earlene Ann Miller

Earlene Ann Miller, 84, of Howard, OH, passed away Friday, August 8th, 2025 at her home in Howard surrounded by her loving family.

Earlene was born February 8th, 1941 in Hazard, KY to Earl and Lillian { Chitwood} Chitwood. She met Charles in 8th grade and joyfully married Charles Edward Miller on February 20th, 1960.

She loved crafts of all kinds, she painted, quilted, was always in the yard planting flowers and making things beautiful. She had strong faith – a woman of strong faith who loved Gospel music. She was a great cook and the holiday meals were amazing. Earlene enjoyed the support and friendship of many lifelong friends and dear neighbors.

Earlene will be deeply missed by her husband; children Pam (John) Clement of Howard, OH, Dean (Carol) Miller of Monclova, OH, Chris (Peg) Miller of Howard, OH; grandchildren Michael, Tyler, Kaelin, Alyssa, Brianna; great-grandchildren Maddox, Easton, Gauge, Blair, Brady, Aiden, Chloe, Brody and her brother Bob Chitwood. Earlene was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Roger and Tom Chitwood.

The family would like to recognize and thank the doctors and nurses from the OSU James Cancer Center, Kenny Rd branch, for all their expertise care and medical attention over the last 7 years. The family will be forever grateful for the extra time they were able to spend with her.

Friends may call Saturday August 16, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel 18260 Coshocton Rd, Mount Vernon, OH.
