Eileen Higgs

Eileen G. {Koontz} Higgs, 82, of Apple Creek, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Aultman Orrville Hospital.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Eileen was born November 5, 1939 in Wooster, Ohio to Howard and Mildred {Kreger} Koontz.

She graduated from Wooster High School.

She married Raymond Higgs on October 16, 1962. He died July 16, 2004.

She worked for Rubbermaid before retiring in 1994. Eileen attended Oak Chapel Church in Jefferson, Ohio. She was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodge and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Eileen will be deeply missed by her children Cindy Duminske of Wooster, Jane (Rob Long) Brown of Mansfield, Douglas (Elveda) Higgs, and Raymond Walter (Kathy) Higgs both of Columbus; grandchildren Jason, Christopher, Stephanie Duminske, Justin Brown, Jessica Goudy, Cierra Tracy, Raymond Lee, Shianne, Dakota Higgs; many great-grandchildren, and special friend Dale Achamire.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, son-in-law William Duminske.
