Betty Jean Ulrich

Betty Jean Ulrich, 91, of Wooster, died Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Brookdale Memory Care.

Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Chaplin Daron Butler officiating. Betty was born October 5, 1930, in Wooster, Ohio to Raymond and Marjorie {Houmard} Armstrong.

She graduated from Burbank High School and then Wooster Business College.

She married Lloyd “Hank” Ulrich on February 21, 1953. He died January 5, 2017. 

She was a secretary for Akron Brass and then Wayne Machine Shop for 29 years. Betty was a member of Grace Church for over 60 years. She enjoyed working outside, gardening and traveling with Hank.

Betty will be deeply missed by her children Ken Ulrich of Camp Hill, PA and Karen (Stanley) Jentes of Wooster; grandchildren Michelle Nichols, Katie and Kenzie Ulrich; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers Richard and John Armstrong.
