Fay Sweeney

Fay Elaine Sweeney, 74, of Wooster, was called home on Thursday, December 14, 2022, at Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

Fay was born July 5, 1948, in Wadsworth to John Frederick and Margaret Mary {Kabeller} Fieg.

She married Charles Sweeney on July 24, 1994. He survives.

Fay was self-employed driving Amish and enjoyed golfing and adventuring with her friends and family.  

Fay will be deeply missed by her husband, Chuck; children Tim (Deb) Shevel of Grafton and Kris (Mike) Swerline of Wooster; stepson Michael (Jeannie) Sweeney of West Virginia; her special granddaughter Ashley (Chris Pinnick) Shevel, grandchildren Jared, Jordan, and Jillian Shevel; and a sister Betty (John) Wise of Burbank.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents and a brother John Fieg.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on January 28, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at Orrville V.F.W, 430 W. Market St. She will be deeply missed by many and loved for eternity.
