Frances Jeffers

Frances Marie Jeffers, 91, passed from this life into eternal life on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at West View Healthy Living in Wooster, Ohio.

Frances was born February 9, 1930 to the late Opal and Andrew Kemp in Belmont, Ohio. Her father nicknamed her Jimmy. She married Mansel Warren Jeffers. He preceded her in death in 1966.

Frances was a loving devoted mother and grandmother who passed away after a courageous battle with Alzheimer/Dementia. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy and laughter to Frannie. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met.

Frances will be lovingly remembered by her children, Terry Warren Jeffers (Julie) of Key West, Florida, Mansel Warren Jeffers Jr. (Jami), of Key Largo, Florida, Tammy Marie Claypool (late Christopher) of Columbus, Ohio. Also missed by her grandchildren, Terra Diane Selby (Daniel Jr), Sheri Ann Jozwiak (Joseph), Melissa Marie Cunningham (Shon), Brian Christopher Claypool, Traci Lynn Torres (Ruben), Michael Warren Jeffers (Carolyn), Justin Donald Herald (Kimberly), Jason Michael London, Jaclyn Nicole Herald, Chad Allen Jeffers (Samuel Cruz), Nicole Marie Bower (Joshua), Hannah Victoria Wonnell (Richard), Arthur Dennison Crocker III. And her great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Ann Jozwiak, Izaac Joseph Jozwiak, Ashley Diane Selby, Lucas Andrew Jozwiak, Drue Harper Jozwiak, Nolan Scott Selby, Emma Marie Shaheen, Jaice Alastaire Herald, Donovan Jeffery Herald, Asher Monroe Herald, Harper Emmeline Torres.

In addition to her husband and parents, Frances was preceded in death by her 5 day old son James Michael Jeffers, her sisters Gladys Palmer (Harold), and Verna Greenwood (Paul), and lifetime friend Chuck Gossard Sr.

The Family would like to extend a very special Thank You to Dr John K. Miller and all of the caregivers and friends at West View Healthy Living for keeping our precious Frannie happy and engaged in her final years.

A Celebration of Life for Frances is being planned for May 2022. Robert's Funeral Home in Wooster, Ohio will be handling the arrangements. Friends wishing to honor Frances Jeffers are invited to make a memorial donation in her name to the Alzheimer's Association at WWW.ALZ.ORG/Donate.
