Freeman Yutzy

Freeman Yutzy, 77, of Wooster, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Freeman was born April 6, 1943 in Wooster, Ohio to John and Lovina {Miller} Yutzy.

He attended Waynedale High School.

He married Rosalie Bunt on April 19, 1964.

Retired from Morton Salt after 38 years. He attended Northview Missionary in Alliance. He loved fast pitch baseball and played 18 years for the Sterling Merchants. After retired he enjoyed mowing his yard, spending time with his grandchildren and meeting up with his friends at various restaurants.

Freeman will be deeply missed by his wife; children Jeff Yutzy of Apple Creek, Jennifer (Conan) Momchilov of Wooster; grandchildren Christian (Whitney) Yutzy of WI, Hunter, Grayson, Rowan, Kailyne Yutzy of Ashland, Logan, and Link Momchilov of Wooster; great-grandchildren Sebastian Yutzy; sister Verna Yoder of FL.

Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Betty Yutzy, Tena Barkman and Mary Mullet, brothers Orris Wayne and Irvin Yutzy.
