Gary Levengood

Gary Arthur Levengood, 81, of Mount Vernon, died Monday, November 29, 2021, at Knox Community Hospital, in Mount Vernon.

Gary was born November 24, 1940, in Coshocton, Ohio to Arthur and Virginia {Mencer} Levengood.

He graduated from Coshocton High School in 1958, then joined the United States Navy.

He married Catherine Louise Rimmer on May 26, 1963.

After retiring from State Farm, Gary began selling for Decosky Auto. Gary and Catherine attended Mulberry United Methodist Church.  He loved golf, bowling, and fishing, but always put his family first.

Gary will be deeply missed by his wife Catherine; children Scott Levengood and Andrea Levengood; sister Elaine (Keith) Miller.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his furry companion Jet.
