George Dixon

George H. Dixon, 89, of Wooster, died Sunday, August 8, 2021 at The Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland.

Services will be Monday August 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Pit Bull Rescue or non-kill shelter.

George was born September 2, 1931 in Oklahoma to Claude and Hazel {Postlethwaite} Dixon.,

He married Sue Rowland on February 18, 1972.

He worked in the oil field his entire life. He enjoyed working and taking care of his family.

George will be deeply missed by his wife, children Vicki (Pat) Henry of Toronto, Sherry (Steve) Cale of Mineral Wells, WV, Lana (Ronnie) McFee of Elizabeth WV, Lisa (Chester) Boggs of Elizabeth WV, Joby Boreman of Wooster, Monty Boreman of Rittman, and Scott Boreman of Stone Creek; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews who loved George dearly; sister Lou Gates of Ralston OK.

George was preceded in death by his parents, son Donnie, and sister Boots, brothers-in-law Billy Wayman and Jim Gates.
