Glenda Mae Snyder

Glenda Mae Snyder, 78, of Wooster, passed away August 23, 2026.

Glenda was born August 23, 1948 in Wooster to James H. and Buna Mae {White} Daugherty.

Glenda graduated from Wooster High School in 1966 and Carnegie College in Cleveland 1968.

She married Don Snyder on September 14, 1968.

Glenda worked as a microbiologist at Wooster Community Hospital for over 40 years before retiring in 2012. Glenda enjoyed shopping, reading, gardening, watching birds, and taking weekend drives (only if a meal was provided). She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her fur babies.

Glenda will be deeply missed by her husband Don; children Elizabeth (Jason) Lingenfelter, Eric (Lisa) Snyder, and Ashley (Clark) Hartman; grandchildren Noah (Kelly) Snyder, Grace (Dylan) Johnson, Kiana and Sawyer Lingenfelter, and Jensen Hartman; great-grandchildren Sunnee and Stormee Snyder, and Hazel Johnson; brother Robert Daugherty; and sister Linda (Ralph) Miller.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother Kenneth Daugherty.

Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, August 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Pine Lake Event Center 3645 Overton Rd. Wooster, OH 44691. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
