Herman Eugene Angle Jr.

Herman Eugene Angle Jr., 70, of Wooster, passed away June 15, 2026.

Herman was born November 17, 1955, in Hines, West Virginia to Herman Eugene Sr.

He married Debbie Leeson on August 20, 1988; she survives.

He worked at Springer Health Care and Autumnwood Nursing Home as head of maintenance for over 30 years. Herman had many hobbies, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved to travel with his wife; but the thing that he enjoyed the most was caring for his grandkids and great grandkids. They were the twinkle in his eye. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Herman loved his family more than life itself. He will be missed tremendously.

Herman will be deeply missed by wife Debbie Angle; children David (Gina) Chapman Angle, Brian Snyder; grandchildren Tyler Howell of Wooster, Justin Howell of Sterling, and Libby (Zach) LaRocca of Sterling, and Haylie Strasser of Iowa; many special great grandkids; brother Mike (Juli) Angle of Mansfield; sisters Debbie (Jim) Norton of Bentree, WV, Connie Angle of Wooster, and January Bonifant of Millersburg.

Herman was preceded in death by his father Herman Angle Sr, and his Son Brian Snyder.

Friends may call Friday, June 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Herman-Angle) with David Bowls officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.
