Inez Funk

Inez A. Funk, 89, of Marietta, died Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 10, 1928 in Pennsylvania to Webster and Eva {Arnold} Smith. She came to Marietta as a young child where she attended Marietta schools and graduated from Marietta High School in 1946.
She married husband James C. Funk August 9, 1947, who survives, as well as children Patrick A. Funk, Rustin J. Funk, Mark D. Funk, Paula Funk Orsini, Joseph C. Funk; brother Paul R. Smith; 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
Inez was preceded in death by her brothers Walter W. and Wesley Smith, and her sister Violet Smith Arbuckle.
According to her wishes, she will be cremated with no services at this time. Roberts Funeral Home is in charge of her burial at East Lawn Memorial Park.
