Jack Kane

Jack R. Kane, 90, of Wooster, died Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Danbury Senior Living, in Wooster.

Due to COVID-19, private family services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Jack was born October 19, 1930, in Wooster, Ohio to Russell and Minnie {Carpenter} Kane.

Jack graduated from Wooster High School in 1948.

He married Carol L. Cook on June 27, 1954. She survives.

Jack was employed at Wooster Products and then the Wooster Brush Company for 29 years, retiring in 1998. He was an active member of Parkview Christian Church in Wooster. Jack was a member of the Wooster Elks Club, an avid golfer, College of Wooster basketball fan, and enjoyed many volunteer activities during retirement.

Jack will be deeply missed by his wife; children Connie Kane and Dan Kane, both of Canton, and Kate (Chris) Hagelin of Louisville, CO; grandchildren Kara (Dan) Olsen, Ben (Kym) Powell, and Caroline, Brooke, Nate, and Erin Hagelin.

Jack was preceded in death by his sister Mary Kathryn Hall and brother Dick Kane.
