Jack Knapp

Jack Joseph Knapp, 77, of Wadsworth, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Jack was born September 11, 1948, in Wadsworth to Roy and Marjorie (Bidinger) Knapp. He graduated from Wadsworth High School.

Jack married Jayne Yett on November 28, 1968, and together they shared more than 57 years of marriage.

He worked for Babcock & Wilcox for 23 years and at Westfield Insurance for 14 years.

Jack was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a social member at American Legion Wadsworth Post 170. He enjoyed hunting, attending his children's sporting events, listening to music, and was an avid sports fan.

Jack will be deeply missed by his wife, Jayne; his sons, Jason (Carrie) Knapp and Jeffrey Knapp; six grandchildren, Juli, Josi, Tyler (Ashanti), Meredith, Millie, and Hailee; great-granddaughter, Sophia; brothers, Jimmy (Debbie) Knapp, Mike (Ginger) Knapp, and Bobby (Sarah) Knapp; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Kathy and Jerry.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., one hour prior, to the11 a.m. service on Wednesday, August 12, at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville.
