With heavy hearts, we announce that James Eugene Hetrick, road his final ride home on the golden highway. He was a loyal servant to God, a devoted father, proud veteran, a true original, who left this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 62.
Born on June 5, 1963, James lived life full throttle. A man of grit, humor, and deep loyalty to family, he served his country with honor in the military and continued to live by the values of discipline, dedication, and strength throughout his life.
James was the kind of man who never shied away from hard work. Whether he was turning wrenches, clocking in long hours, or lending a hand to someone in need, he showed up with determination and heart. He was proud of what he built—not just in work, but in the love , family and legacy he created.
A biker through and through, James found freedom on two wheels. He loved the open road, the sound of a good engine, and loud pipes, with his wife on the back and the brotherhood that came with the ride. His laugh was contagious and his smile could fill up a room. His leather vest told stories, he would often share over a cold drink or good music.
But above all, James was a father. A single dad to three daughters, he was their protector, teacher, and hero. He raised them with strength, love, and the occasional tough lesson wrapped in humor and real talk. His girls—and later his grandkids—were his pride and joy.
James was the life of the party, the friend you could count o n, the man with a sharp wit and an even sharper sense of loyalty. He was perfectly imperfect, fiercely loved, and will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Hetrick, his devoted daughters, Samantha Fox (Stephen) Jamie Frazier (Aaron), and Toni Wood (David), step-sons Matthew Brady (Tara), Cody Brady (Candace) his grandchildren, Alex Maxwell, Madison Frazier, Dayvionne Floyd, Westin Frazier, Wyatt Fox, David Wood Jr, Madison Brady, Claire Brady, Rowan Brady, Callie and Ty. His mother Phyllis Hetrick, stepmother Janet Hetrick, siblings, extended family, and countless friends who were more like family. He is proceeded in death by his father Glenn Hetrick , his daughter Nicole Hetrick.
Ride free, Dad. We know you’ve found the open road in the sky. Your legacy lives on through every story, every laugh, and every mile we
ride in your memory.
