James Hutchison

James Stanley Hutchison, 76, of New Matamoras, Ohio, formerly of Rittman, Ohio died Monday, November 27, 2017 in Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born April 17, 1941 near Beallsville, Ohio son of the late Robert and Anna Mellott Hutchison. James was a retired employee of the former PPG Plant in New Martinsville, WV; a member of the Faith Gospel Church, New Matamoras, and a proud member of the "Peace Makers," a local Bluegrass Gospel Band. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marjorie Lynn, also by five siblings, Robert, Jr., Martha, Mary, Arthur "Sam," and Esther. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Wilma Watts Hutchison; four daughters, Lori, Angela, Patty, and Vickie; a sister, Marjorie, and a brother, Carl "Nick," six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Thursday at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville from 4pm to 8pm. Visitation will then be held Friday at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster from 1pm to 3pm and the funeral service will follow at 3pm.
