James “Bud” Noe, 73, of Creston, died Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster surrounded by his loving family.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Canaan Free Will Baptist Church. Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the church with Pastor Aaron Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where military rites will be held. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Bud was born December 9, 1948, in Logan, West Virginia to Raymond P. and Velma {Tooley} Noe.
He served in the United States Army for 3 years and served in Vietnam.
Bud married Karen Tenley on December 30, 1977.
Bud worked for Ford Motor Company in Brookpark, OH for 36 years. He was a member of Canaan Free Will Baptist. He was an avid hunter, an outdoorsman, and he was a Mr. Fix It. He loved helping other veterans connect with the Canton VA and he served in many different ways at the Pregnancy Care Center. Although he had a great love for all of these things he had a greater love for his family, and treasured his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Bud will be deeply missed by his wife; children Tiffany M. (Josh) Heiney, James R. (Jessica) Noe, and Stephanie M. (Isaac) Hay all of Creston; 6 grandchildren; brother Frank D. Noe of West Virginia; and sister Patricia Buehler of Creston.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Janie Christian, Dana Noe, Linda Clark, and Donna Kennedy; brothers Raymond, Ernest, and Donald Noe; and dear friends Joe DeLucca and Orville Christian.
