Janet Sue Frye

Janet Sue Frye, 81, of Ashland, OH, passed away Monday April 1, 2024, at her home, in Ashland.
Janet was born November 29th, 1942 in Mount Vernon, OH to John Patrick and Coretta {Smith} Anderson. 
She married Ronnie L. Frye on November 10th, 1962 and he passed away March 22nd. 2017.  

A homemaker her whole life she was devoted to her children and grandchildren then great grandchildren.  She kept an immaculate house and you had to remove shoes and any dirty cloths.  She loved soap operas, Young and Restless, As the World Turns, Guiding Light, Bold and Beautiful all kept her occupied.  “We love you” … “You’d better or your in trouble!”   A sharp wit she made people feel loved and comfortable.   Carmel with a white center were always a late night snack.  Pepsi was her life.  Cheese was always good on everything.   

Janet will be deeply missed by her children Lisa (Tony) Oberholtzer, Teresa Marie (Denny) Hart, and Chloe; grandchildren Ashley Barnes, Dawn Schnell, Matt Oberholtzer,  Denzil Hart; great-grandchildren Brenna Pounds, Emery Barnes, Maclynn Squire, Breyson Schnell. 
Janet was preceded in death by her husband and brother, John Patrick Anderson Jr.. 

Friends may call Friday April 5, from 1:00 p.m.  to 3:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Chaplin Dave Matos officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.  Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice.
