Jerrine F. Husar

Jerrine F. Husar, 87, of Ashland, formerly of Lorain, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, at Lutheran Village in Ashland. Jerrine graduated from Lorain High in the class of 1954B and started a career as an X-ray technician. She was later employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation where she retired. She is survived by her daughters Leesa Husar and Colleen (Stephen) Allbee, grandsons Andrew and Alexander (Jessica) and great-grandson Levi, her sister Lynette (Frank) Cerny and nieces Kelly Rogers and Robin Chamberlin as well as an extended family of cousins, grand and great grand nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter, and son Kevin Husar. Jerri was a proud American and a dedicated supporter of the police department, her country, those who served, and of the rights of immigrants who wished to share the American Dream. Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland is assisting with arrangements. A private entombment will be held at Ashland County Memorial Park.
