Joan Ellen Neville

Joan Ellen Neville, 84, of Marietta, passed away Monday, May 26, 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 9, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to Herman “Bud” and Anita {Whiting} Jennrich.

Joan graduated from Marietta High School in 1959 and received her associate’s degree from Washington Technical College.

She married Ron Neville on July 5, 1961.

Joan was employed by Marietta Ventures, a job that she loved and enjoyed going to every day. She enjoyed attending her high school class luncheons monthly. Joan loved watching and rooting on her Buckeyes.

Joan will be deeply missed by her son Jeff (Julie) Neville and daughter Jill (Matt) Grimm; grandchildren Brandon Neville (fiancé Laura Doak), Joel Neville, Josh Grimm and Justin Grimm; sister Janeen Kraham and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Joan was preceded in death by her husband Ron and her sister Chris Alexander.

Burial will be private at East Lawn Memorial Park.
