Jon Mann

Jon David Mann, 69, of Wooster, died Monday, February 28, 2022, at Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

Friends may call Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Services will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home with Chaplain Daron Butler officiating.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.

Jon was born July 13, 1952, in Lodi to Norman and Betty {Palmer} Mann.

He was a Northwestern High School graduate. He married Donna Franks on June 18, 1971. She survives.

Jon was a truck driver most of his life, most recently for CRW. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and was a faithful fan of the Cleveland Indians.  He liked animals and especially feeding birds.

Jon will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Donna, daughter, Tracy (Josh) Case of Wooster, grandsons Matthew Hanna, AJ Phillips, Jack Case and Jon Hanna; great-grandson Hunter Hanna; and a brother Andy (Julie) Mann of Akron.

Jon was preceded in death by his daughters Jennifer Hanna and Katie Phillips, parents, and a brother Terry.
