Joyce Kick

Joyce Ann Kick, 75, of Apple Creek, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster.

Joyce was born March 8, 1950 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Robert W. and Anne {Anepseos} Gardiner.

She married Rodney Kick on July 24, 2000; he passed in 2024.

Joyce worked for Gerstenslager Co. in the 1980’s. She was a member of the Orrville VFW. Joyce was proud of her Greek heritage and passed along many Greek recipes. She was an animal lover and had many pets throughout the years. Joyce loved to be around her family and friends.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her children Wayne (Lori) Kasserman of Wooster, Tracy Kasserman of Orrville, Jeremiah Neubert of Wooster, Joshua Kick of Florida, and Michelle Hasskew of Canton; grandchildren Cody (Courtney) Kasserman, Dylan Kasserman, Alexis Neubert, Jonathan Neubert, Koj Owens, and Mekara Feaster; great grandchildren Cale Drown, Kennedy Drown, and Percy Dees; several nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Gary A. Gardiner.

Private services will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with the arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
