Joyce Kay McQuillen

Joyce Kay McQuillen, 80, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Ohio Health Hospital in Mansfield.

Joyce was born January 4, 1946, in Ashland to Alfred and Blanche {Gill} Evans.

She married John McQuillen on December 15th, 1973; he passed on December 31, 2025.

Joyce was a homemaker; she loved to play bingo. She baked wedding cakes, cookies, and made candies for the holidays. Joyce enjoyed sewing quilts and embroidering for her nieces and nephews. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler, she was in many bowling leagues.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her brother James (Bev) Evans and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Friends may visit Wednesday, May 6 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
