Joyce Eileen Rutkin

Joyce Eileen Rutkin, 83, of Baltic, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, at Oak Pointe Care Center.

Eileen was born July 18, 1942, in Graysville, Pennsylvania to E. B. and Mary Elizabeth {Sanders} Burns.

She married Jerry Rutkin; he precedes her in death.

Eileen loved Bingo, working puzzles, and eating chocolate. She was known for writing cards with Bible verses for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. She loved people; she was very social and enjoyed spending time with others. Eileen had a deep faith in Jesus and knew where she was going.

Eileen will be deeply missed by her brothers Roy (Karen) Burns, Ronald (Jackie) Burns, Larry (Connie) Burns, and Kenneth (Carol) Burns.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and a sister.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 21 at 10 a.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.
