Judy Wise

Judy (Smith) Wise, 77, of Marshallville, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday July 15, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones.

Friends may call Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Private services will be held. Services can be viewed on Facebook Live. Judy was born January 26, 1943 in Wayne County to Walter E. and Pauline {Miller} Kandel.

She married Charles E. Smith on August 10, 1968. He died March 7, 2001. She then married James A. Wise on May 10, 2003.  He survives.

Judy worked at Rubbermaid for 34 years.  After retirement, she volunteered as a Pink Lady at Dunlap Hospital.  Judy was a member of Paradise Church of the Brethren.  She enjoyed playing games, knitting, traveling, and reading.

Judy will be deeply missed by her husband James; children Beth (Ken) Smith Maxwell of Apple Creek and David Smith of Millersburg; grandchildren Jessica Smith of Nashville; brother Arthur (Mary) Kandel of Orrville; sisters Dorcas (Bob) Lemon of Kidron, Rita Jean (Jim) Smith Atkinson and Susan (Dennis) Weaver all of Orrville.

Judy was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles.
