Julius "Ray" Goodheart

Julius “Ray” Goodheart, 83, of Wadsworth, died March 4, 2024 at Medina Hospital, in Medina.

Ray was born March 15, 1940 in Akron, Ohio to Julius and Jenny {Wolfe} Goodheart.

He married Janice Lee Palmisono in January 1969. 

Ray retired from Goodyear after 40 years. He attended the Church of God and enjoyed trains, clocks and trucks.

Ray will be deeply missed by his wife Jan; children Kathy, Gene (Megan), Julie, Jenifer, Jessica (Bryan Doud) Goodheart; grandchildren Michael, Michelle, Sean, Joshua (Samantha), Hannah, Joseph; great-grandchildren Sadie and Ari.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Sophie.

Funeral services will be private and Pastor Bob McQuillen will be officiating. Burial will be at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home-Hilcrest Chapel, Seville will be handling arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
