Karen Lynette McClellan

Karen Lynette McClellan, 72, of Ashland, died April 29, 2025 at Mansfield Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Karen was born May 8, 1952 in Ashland, Ohio to Alma {Moyers} Coleman.

She married Fred McClellan on August 19, 1972.

Karen worked as a receptionist for various medical offices. She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in Ashland. Karen enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and really enjoyed spending time with her only granddaughter, following her in all her activities. She also enjoyed working outside in her flowerbeds, and sitting by the firepit.

Karen will be deeply missed by her husband Fred; daughter Kelly (Greg) Marsh; granddaughter Emily Marsh; and sister Marilyn Ferrell.

Karen was preceded in death by her mom Alma Coleman.

Friends may visit Tuesday May 6 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Celebration of life services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Josh Wilson officiating.
