Karl Jones

Karl R. Jones, 81, of Shreve, passed away October 6, 2025, at his home.

Karl was born September 6, 1944, in Millersburg, Ohio to Earl H. and Irma L. {Neal} Jones.

He married Gathie P. Fisher on August 2, 1980, she passed on May 12, 1999.

Karl worked at Wooster Iron & Metal for 20 years. He loved traveling to Frankenmuth, Michigan and visiting around the town. Karl loved going out to eat. He liked to watch wrestling on TV. Karl was a member of the Loudonville Legion.

Karl will be deeply missed by his sisters Betty Austin of Wooster, Darlene Jones of Wooster, and Judy (Norman) Raber of Fresno, Ohio, Carole Weese of Cummings, Georgia; nephews Chester Dial, Jack Dial, Tony Dial, Derik Eaton, Luke Raber; nieces Lugena Weese, Angie Clabough, Crystal Raber; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Karl was preceded in death by his wife, parents, infant brother, brothers-in-law Bill Dial and Jim Austin.

Friends may call Saturday, October 11, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
