Kathy McDermott

Kathy May McDermott, 62, of Wooster died Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

Kathy was born December 8, 1959, in Wooster to Clayton and Ethel {Ray} Nickelson.

She married Russell McDermott on January 11, 2006.  He died June 22, 2022.

Kathy worked for Dairy Mart for many years then for Wal-Mart. She loved her dog, Sassy.

Kathy will be deeply missed by her brothers Charles (Marian) Nickelson of Wooster and Tommy (Betty) Nickelson of Wooster and a sister Shirley “Shawna” Roberts of Pahrump, Nevada; nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Russel.

No services will be held.
