Larry Slaughter

Larry E. Slaughter, 79, of Doylestown, died Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Summa Barberton Hospital.

Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Larry was born March 29, 1942 in Belgrove, WV to Kenna and Martha {Stalnaker} Slaughter.

He served in the US Army from 1964 to 1966.

He married Carrie Huegle on March 24, 1967.

He retired from PCA in Rittman. Larry enjoyed camping and playing the lottery. He enjoyed helping Mike and Jim bale hay.

Larry will be deeply missed by his wife; children Ken Slaughter of Dundee, Missy Slaughter of Barberton, Heather Slaughter of Wooster; grandchildren Zack, Reiven, Nikki, Talon, Laine, Brinn, and Korynn; great-grandchildren Christopher, Hailey, and Kinsley; brothers Eugene and Max Slaughter; sisters Anna Carr and Joyce Rhoades.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Shane Michael Slaughter, and several brothers and sisters.
