Larry Wade

Larry D. Wade, 86, of Smithville, died Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

Larry was born May 8, 1937 in Orrville, Ohio to Roy and Agnes {Brown} Wade.

He graduated from Orrville High School in 1956. 

He married Beverly Moser on October 19, 1961. She survives.

Larry worked for Maverick Innovative Solutions for 40 years before retirement. He was a member of the Heartland Christian Center in Wooster. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting.

Larry will be deeply missed by his wife; children Dan (Kelly) Wade of Smithville, Beth (Tracy Teter) Suppan of Rittman, Amber (Donald) Phillips of Wooster; daughter-in-law Kay Wade; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Judy Viator; and sister-in-law Lee Wade.

Larry was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Wade, brothers Roy L. Wade and John D. Wade and one sister Vera J. Zimmerman.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. Graveside services and burial will be Tuesday at 11 am at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor James Sustar officiating.
