Laura V. Wellman

Laura V. Wellman, 94, of Wadsworth, died March 23, 2023 at AlterCare of Wadsworth.

Laura was born October 3, 1928 in Barberton, Ohio to Andrew and Pearl {Mitchell} Goda.

She married Thomas Wellman on May 8, 1957.  He died November 1, 2009.

She worked for W.T. Grant Co. in Barberton for 7 years, she also worked for the Wadsworth City Schools for 14 years. Laura was a member of the Apostolic Church of Barberton.  

Laura will be deeply missed by her children Thomas (Vicky) Wellman Jr., Lora (Buster) Swallows, Kim Keith; 5 grandsons Caleb (Dreya) Wellman, Zach (Kirsten) Wellman, Micah (Heather) Wellman, Cody Wellman and

Michael (Kelli) Taylor; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Sonja Slaughter and Pamela Selman.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tom, Sisters Winnie Unklesbay, Myrna Burns, Billie Andears, Dixie Tallman and brothers Phillip Harbaugh,  David Goda.

Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Pamer and Bishop Rodney Pamer officiating.
