Leland Frank Farquharson

Leland “Lee” Frank Farquharson, 68, of Zanesville, passed away March 11, 2026.

Lee was born October 9, 1957 in Ashland, Ohio to William and Marilyn {Fulwider} Farquharson.

Lee graduated with a Master of Science in Administration.

He married Sherri Gisinger on February 15, 2020.

Lee worked for the Federal Government for 28 years. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Ashland. Lee was an amateur radio operator. He was a foodie and he loved to eat. Lee loved travelling and his favorite destination was Alaska. He was an avid reader and history buff.

Lee will be deeply missed by his wife Sherri Farquharson; step-children James Spangler and Jeremy Spangler; step-grandchildren Austin, Hayden, and Aubrey Spangler; and sister Lori (Fred) Gottfried.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, his previous wife Linda Farquharson.

Friends may call Wednesday March 18 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Leland-Farquharson) with Pastor Harry Strachan officiating.
