Linda Cox

Linda Carol Cox, 71, of Westfield Center, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Hospice of Medina County.

Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Friday, August 3, at 10:45 a.m. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Linda was born December 13, 1946 in Akron to Austin and Florence {Kline} Marshall.

She graduated from Buchtel High School and attended Akron University, where she was an Alpha Gamma Delta.

She married Robert “Bob” Cox on November 18, 1967.

Linda was a certified benefits analyst and worked most recently in HR for the City of Lebanon, TN, before returning to Ohio.  She had a dedicated work ethic, enjoyed people, cooking and crafts, and was a kind and generous person.

Linda will be deeply missed by her husband of 50 years; brothers John (Beth) Marshall of West Liberty, OH and Don (Theresa) Marshall of Liberty, OH; sister Nancy Greene of Sugar Creek, OH and many nephews, nieces and treasured family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
