Lois Alverna Morrison, 94, of Seville, died Saturday September 2, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Lois was born January 9, 1929 in Sharon Center, Ohio to Edward and Hazel {Nimon} Bird.

She married Glen Morrison on May 24, 1947.  

Lois was a self-employed dairy farmer, housewife, and mother. She attended the Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Seville. She was a member of the Silver Star Rider Saddle Club, and the Swinging Star Square Dancers. Lois was an avid bowler, wonderful pie baker, passing her pie baking skills down to Elaine and Jenny, and also known for her Sunday dinners. She also crocheted beautiful afghans for all her family. She was always available to help many people who needed a place to stay. Lois was a competitor in many horse competitions and she passed that love of horses to all her children.

Lois will be deeply missed by her children Vicki {Bruce} Theobald of Port Clinton, Sandy Morrison of Seville, Chris {Chip} Boham of Marengo, Kent {Elaine} Morrison of Butler, Tammy {Rick} Sutton of Seville, and Anita {Matt} Honigman of Seville; grandchildren Jenny, Marie, Joe, Corrie, Alicia, Cheyenne, Drake, and Heath; great-grandchildren Morgan, Dillon, Brooke, Ava, Melvin, Mica, Mylah, Gavin, Emery, Hugh, Ida, Otis, Weston, Hailee, Gracie, and Dawson.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Glen, stillborn son, infant son Rodney, son Gary, sisters Irene, Wanda, Cecile, Esta, and Evelyn, and brother Edward. She has been reunited with her husband and sons again.

Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville is assisting with arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at Jerusalem Lutheran Church on Acme Rd tentatively on September 23rd from 11-3. Lois will be laid to rest next to her husband and son at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Private graveside services will be held at the cemetery with Pastor Patrick Bailey officiating.
