Loretta Mae Carmany

Loretta Mae Carmany, 93, of Wadsworth, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

Loretta was born May 12, 1932, in Manchester, Ohio to Wm. Calvert and Josephine Bertha {Maahs} Turley.

She married William “Bill” Carmany on November 19, 1953; he passed in 2011.

Loretta worked at Medina Hospital for over 20 years. She liked to garden, farm, and go to Goodwill. Loretta enjoyed traveling and visiting family.

Loretta will be deeply missed by her children Richard William (Cecilia) Carmany and Daniel James (Lisa) Carmany; grandchildren Dana (Stacy) Carmany, Jennifer (Dallas) Carmany; four great-grandchildren; and sisters Martha and Peggy.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Joyzelle and Liz, and brother Calvert.
