Lucille Lynn Thompson, 82, of Ashland, passed away September 26, 2026.

Lucille was born December 21, 1943 in Oquawka, IL to Louis Milo Brown and Margaret {Brewer} Felton.

Lucille retired from Abbott Labs after over 40 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Lucille will be deeply missed by her children Paul (Clara) Thompson, Allen (Jane) Thompson, Brian Thompson, Chad (Amy) Thompson, Christa (Anthony) Webb, Jessica (Chris) Sywajck, and Mary Stoner; grandchildren Nichole, Justin, and Carrie Crossen, Shawn Thompson, Carolyn (Steven) Brock, Cynthia (Scottie) Ryder, Baylin Thompson, Kavantray and Darius Marsh; 5 great-grandchildren; brother John (Nancy) Brown; and sisters Evelyn Hartman and Beverly Liggett.

Lucille was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Thompson, grandson Steven Crossen, and brothers Ivan Krow and Alvin Brown.

Friends may visit Thursday October 1st from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Lucille-Thompson) with Pastor Renee Collins of Kingdom Grace Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. There will be a celebration of life at the Pavilion at Ashland Eagles Club following the services.
