Marcella Ferraro

Marcella Louise “Marcy” Ferraro, 94, of Parma, died February 22, at the Wooster Community Hospital.

Marcella was born December 5, 1929, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Earl A and Helen R (Bebout) Smith.

She married Stephen Ferraro on June 17, 1951. He died April 10, 2014.

Marcy worked as a secretary in Cleveland for many years and was a member of the Methodist Church. She loved sewing, visiting Amish Country, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying life.

Marcy will be deeply missed by her children Stephen Ferraro Jr and Debbie (Casey) Mathews, grandchildren Stephen (fiancé Ange Ursem) Ferraro III, Becca (Drew Myers) Mathews and great-grandchild Elijah Ferraro; brother William (Margaret “Dolly”) Smith of Brooklyn, OH, and was a loving aunt and friend to many.

Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen, daughter-in-law (Gayle) and several siblings. 

Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 11:15 a.m. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
