Marian Louise Robison

Marian Louise Robison, 97, of Wooster, went home to be with her Lord, May 29, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

Marian was born at home in Altoona, Pennsylvania on January 10, 1929, to James Orville Wilt and Ethel M.{Fisher}Wilt.

Marian graduated from Philadelphia Bible Institute in 1949 with desires to be a missionary. She married Frank Robison on August 16, 1952; he passed in 2003.

Marian worked at various retail stores, she and her husband owned Hilltop Villa Rehabilitation Center in Wooster for 17 years. Marian was an active member of Grace Church. She taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and served the church in many ways. She enjoyed flower gardening, camping, hiking, sports, and spending time with her family.

Marian will be deeply missed by her children Cathy Holt and Lori Jewell; grandchildren Nicole Holt, Matthew (Morgan) Holt, Kristen Holt; great-grandchildren Lauren Holt, Carlos Alonso, Frank Holt; sister Beulah Jones; and many nieces and nephews.

Marian was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank, son-in-law Carl Holt, brother Ellsworth Wilt, and sister Eleanor Ryan.

Friends may call Tuesday, June 2 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Marian-Robison) with Pastor Bob Fetterhoff officiating.
