Marilyn June Selman

Marilyn June Selman, 92, passed away May 28, 2025, at her home, in Bailey Lakes.

She was born June 1, 1932, in Lorain, Ohio to William and Matilda {Meyers} Bauer. She married Elza “Dan” Selman on April 26, 1980. He survives.

Marilyn was a devoted wife and mother and stayed busy raising her 5 children. She enjoyed gardening, her dogs, and her horse. Most of all, Marilyn loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the VFW #7576 of Vermillion where she had been president of the Women’s Auxiliary.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Dan; children Linda (Donald) Schnitzler, David (Carolyn) Cambarare of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Marilyn Beckler and Bart (Carra) Cambarare all of Vermillion, Ohio, Dana (Kimberly) Cambarare of Ashland, Ohio and a stepson Daniel Shane (Jess) Selman of Barberton, Ohio. She had 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her son-in-law Dale Beckler; siblings William and Robert Bauer and Norma Bartish, David R Cambarare ( Marilyn’s 1st Husband).

Friends may visit Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Marilyn-Selman). Entombment will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
