Mark Allen Hoover

Mark Allen Hoover passed away peacefully on November 5th, at the age of 57. He was born on December 3, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mark will be remembered by family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1987, where his involvement in the speech and debate team, and marching and concert bands helped foster lifelong friendships. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in history from The Ohio State University in 1992.

For 25 years, Mark worked for Pregame, a sports media, data, and information company based in the Las Vegas area. In his free time, he also spent countless hours sharing adventures, laughter, and camaraderie with friends through playing Dungeons & Dragons and similar board games. These experiences created lasting memories and friendships that meant so much to him.

Mark will be deeply missed by his mother, Barbara Hoover; his sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Jeff Cummings; his niece, Kaitlyn Cummings; and his very close friend, Jolene Garcia. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Hoover, along with many other beloved family members.

Calling hours will be held at Roberts Funeral Home, 9560 Acme Road, Seville, Ohio on Monday November 9, 2026, from 1 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service directly following.
