Martha Jackson

Martha Catherine Jackson, 69, of Wooster, Ohio, died Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Avenue at Wooster.

Martha was born February 18, 1952, in Grenada, Mississippi to Junior and Jessie {Tillison} Jackson.

She received a bachelor’s degree from Ashland University in Business Administration, then went on to complete a master’s degree in Social Work from Walsh University.

Martha was dedicated to the Wayne County community and worked many years for Wayne County Children’s Services. With her commitment to service, she worked for Every Women’s House (OneEighty Inc.), and Community Action Wayne/Medina.  Martha served on the board of directors for Legal Aid, volunteered for the Salvation Army, was a huge advocate for children, and helped with drug rehabilitation.  Martha’s faith in Christ guided her daily actions in work, and in life. She enjoyed knitting with her daughter, photography, all types of music, dancing, playing piano, family, and the Wild Women.

Martha will be deeply missed by her daughter Keli Dawn Jackson.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents.
